As I eagerly await your technicians to come and service my air ducts again this year, I felt I should let you know how your company has changed my life.
In 2003 I was suffering from horrible allergies, both weather and environmentally related. I had been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis in 1999 and had been on many years worth of antibiotics and steroids as the attacks became more frequent each year. In 2003, the health had become so poor that I couldn't work or do much else except lay on the couch. I ran a fever daily of up to 101 degrees, and felt like I had an elephant lying on my chest. The chest congestion was terrible and I was on multiple prescription medications that simply were not working. I was getting worse daily. I was having maybe one good day out of three or four where I could actually get up and do something around the house. My quality of life was extremely poor, I was terribly depressed and actually purchased life insurance on myself for my husband that year...just in case. There were days I felt so bad I really didn't care if the next one came.
Then, on one of the better days after watching air duct cleaning commercials on television, I got up and went to my computer. I went online and began searching out air duct cleaning services. After reading a multitude of online advertising, my favorite website was yours. I e-mailed you with a long list of my history and you very kindly called me back that same day. You spoke with me at great length and explained a variety of things regarding indoor air pollution that I just wasn't aware of. We scheduled an appointment and your technicians came out.
They were very kind, competent and forthright about explaining everything they would do, how they would do it, and made sure I understood. They were at my house about 4½ hours cleaning my ducts and registers and each time there was an issue with something, it would be immediately brought to my attention. It was discovered that I had mold in two of my air ducts and that was treated.
Much to my complete amazement, within the next three days, I felt better than I had in years. I was up off the couch, my cough and chest congestion were gone, and so was my fever. Within that week, I was able to begin working again. That simple service completely changed my life that year. Being able to function again removed the depression of being sick all the time and allowed me to do the things I wanted and needed to do again. I cannot express how important it is for homeowners, especially those in older home, to have this service performed. It completely changed my life, and I'm looking forward to seeing your technicians out here again to have the ducts cleaned, as my allergies are progressing, and I now know what to look for.
